As you are aware my business is dependent on the number of clients I can see in my clinic hours if you are unable to make a previously arranged appointment I request that you provide me with at least 24 hours notice. This will allow me the option to re book the time slot with someone on my waiting list.

With at least 24 hours notice I will reschedule your appointment and no fee will apply. For upfront payment of a treatment, I will be happy to reschedule the appointment or provide full refund of the price you paid.
With less than 24 hours notice, a 50% fee of the full treatment value will apply. For upfront payment of a treatment you will be offered a 50% refund of the full treatment value you paid.
For no-shows*, a 100% fee of the full treatment value will apply . For upfront payment of a treatment refund will not be provided.

Clients who might running late (even if a few minutes late), please be kind enough to notify me as soon as possible so that I can plan your treatment accordingly, this might involve decreasing treatment time or rearranging to a different time on the same day when possible, to avoid unnecessary cancellation fees. Should the treatment be cut short you will still be charged the full amount. If you do not show within 15 minutes from the time scheduled and I don’t receive any notice from you, your appointment will be considered cancelled for “no-show” charged full amount.

Clients that have previously cancelled appointments without adequate notification as shown above, may be asked to prepay the full value of the treatment for any future appointments.

I can understand how frustrating the cancellation policy can be, but as a small business owner, I have a duty of responsibility to all my clients. A cancellation under 24 hours or a no-show does not give me enough time to offer a slot to clients on my waiting list and this means that my clients lose the opportunity to get the service they need. Furthermore last minute cancellations really impact my income and too many do not allow my business to survive.

I am a full member of the Association of Reflexologists (AoR) which demonstrates that I have a nationally recognised Diploma in Reflexology.

As an AoR member:

• I am bound by the AoR Code of Practice and Ethics.
• I follow the AoR Good Practice Policy and hygiene guidance to ensure client safety.
• I will always be adequately insured for medical malpractice /professional indemnity requirements. The industry standard is in excess of £5 million cover.
• I comply with the AoR Continuing Professional Development requirements which ensures my practice is kept up to date.

As a professional and highly qualified reflexologist, I will provide you with the appropriate bespoke treatment and support.

During the booking process the client must inform of any present health conditions and must fill-in a consultation form at the first treatment. Clients are also required to keep informed the therapist of any change on their medical condition should they arise before each following appointment. Some medical conditions may require a GP approval.

I reserves the right to refuse to offer a treatment in case the client shows at the time of the booking fever, nausea, diarrhoea, infectious disease, undiagnosed pain, is under the influence of alcohol or drugs, if the client does not provide a GP letter consent when required or has not informed the therapist of a new presence of a medical condition that is a contra-indication to the treatment. In this circumstance the client will be still charged the full session amount.
